Landform
The planed area situated in the Northwest
of Datong Basin is a sloping plain with a trend
of the north being higher than the south, which
is flat and smooth with a gradient of 3¡ë or so,
suitable for building construction.
Geology
The stratum, belonging to the renewed
system after 4th system, is powdered clunch and
sand clay from the flooding, the ground is non-humid
and medium-soft soil with general carrying capacity
(FK) of 100-190Kpa, deepness from water level
to the constructing ground is above 12m, the max
freezing deepness is 1.7 m, standard freezing
deepness is 1.5m, quakeproof degree is grade 7.
